Copying Characters to the External Playtest Server

A quick update on the External Playtest server: We're still worching on fixing some issues that prevent us from opening the EP server to the public. That being said, we are evaluating a new build tomorrow that may resolve the issues. If so, we will open the External Playtest server on Thursday, December 22.
Copying Characters to the External Playtest Server
Given that we're still hoping to open the External Playtest server on Thursday, we're ready to allow players to copy characters from the live game to the EP server. Here is how you copy a character:
Log on to The Matrix Online with the character you want to copy.
Jack in to the world.
Type /copychar in the Chat window.
If the copy command is successful, you'll see a confirmation in the chat window.Some things you need to know about copying characters:
You may only copy one character every 24 hours.
All character data is copied over, although some things like Abilities or Enhanced items may not work correctly at this time.
You have three character slots on the EP server. Each time you copy a character from the Live game, it takes one of your character slots.
If you don't have a free character slot when you copy a character, your oldest character on the EP server will be replaced.
If you copy a character to the EP server that already exists there, that EP character will be replaced with the current data from the Live server.

Ovviamente non potevano mancare i soliti casini e quindi sul forum hanno già aperto un topic per un problema che hanno in tanti, digitando /copychar a molti non arriva un messaggio di conferma positivo ma uno con uno stranissimo errore:

ottima la notizia dei tre slot sul test server, lo immaginavo, ma una conferma fa piacere.
Noto che continua la mania di cambiare nomenclatura per tutto, ad es. ora si dice stat invece di attribute, e si dovrà dire EP server invece del buon vecchio QA server ^_^
quindi forse già stasera si comincia

We are sorry to announce that the External Playtest server will not be opening until after the holidays. The team has been worching hard to implement the Combat Revision 2.0 changes on our experimental branch, but there are some remaining issues that make it unfeasible to ask players to test the system at this time. We appreciate the community's enthusiasm about testing CR2.0 and want to make sure that your first experience with the changes is a positive one.
The timing of maching the Combat Revision 2.0 changes to the live game is based uThe Matrix: Path of Neogetting community feedback from the Experimental Playtest server and having time to act uThe Matrix: Path of Neothat feedback. We believe the changes are critical to the continued success of The Matrix Online and will not be releasing the changes to the live game until they are ready. We will determine the release date of CR2.0 once we have the External Playtest server open and the community has had time to submit feedback to the team.
This was not an easy decision for the team to make as we are excited about putting Combat Revision 2.0 up for the community to review. We hope you understand our reasons for delaying the opening of the External Playtest server and appreciate your patience.
