Prima di entrare nella sala parto Yoda entra in contatto con Qui-Gon Jinn, questi rivela a Yoda il segreto della Forza, un segreto semplice, e la sua semplicità è il motivo per cui i Sith non possono conoscerlo. Da questo momento lo spettatore avrà una opinione completamente diversa di Yoda e di Qui-Gon. Jinn sarà da allora considerato il Jedi più potente. Qui-Gon ha anche un'influenza sul concepimento dei gemelli e sui loro Midichlorian. Dopo la morte di Padmé, Obi-Wan Yoda e Bail discutono di Qui-Gon, decidono di separare i gemelli, Bail prende Leia e i droidi; prima che Obi-Wan parta per Tatooine, Yoda gli rivela un altra sorole-playerrendente cosa. Nel suo esilio Yoda dovrà disimparare ciò che ha imparato. Gli zii di Luke, Owen e Beru non hanno dialoghi; Sarà chiaro che tutte le cose che Obi-Wan racconta a Luke, e anche la questione della Saber di suo padre, sono solo invenzioni di Kenobi per convincere il ragazzo. Il fatto che Leia ricordi la madre è dovuto al volere della Forza e all'azione dei suoi Midichlorian. <[/i:8629db10dc]

Questa scena è stata barbaramente tagliata nel film, infatti il riferimento a Qui-Gon nel dialgo finale tra Organa, Kenobi e Yoda non si capisce, se non si è letto questo spoiler.
Ora finalmente si capisce anche perche la madre di Anachin lo concepisce senza un padre, prima sapeva tanto di messia... C'è da chidersi se ci sia stata la volontà di qualcuno in particolare, nel concepimento di Anachin.
